Keswick School have shown their respect to those that fought and died in the war by creating a display of ceramic poppies. Pupils and staff came together to make poppies for the display during lunchtimes and after school. The poppies will be sold on 25th November with all proceeds donated to The Royal British Legion.

We think it may be up there with nationally outstanding results. Alex Wettig, one of our German boarders, achieved A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, History, German (of course) and an A* in his EPQ project which comfortably secured his place at Trinity College, Cambridge to study Engineering. Year 7 boarders recently enjoyed a day off timetable to attend team building days at a local outdoor centre with all the other new Year 7 pupils who started school in September. With only two training sessions completed the U18 girls team travelled to Penrith RFC for a fixture billed as a trial match. The Keswick Lions Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community has been awarded to Keswick School student, Abigail Eldon.
Abigail, 18, who was a boarder at Keswick School at the time Storm Desmond hit the town causing widespread flooding, volunteered in the massive clean up operation helping flood victims whose homes had been engulfed with water. As... Read more »

Adams’ Grammar School in Newport has reported another excellent set of GCSE results this year. With an overall pass rate of 98%, 60% were A* or A with an average number of passes of 10 GCSEs per pupil.
