Keswick School is celebrating a record breaking set of A-level results that will place the school amongst the highest performing in the country.

Admiral of the Fleet, The Lord Boyce, was guest of honour at the Duke of York's Royal Military School in Dover last Friday (July 3) to take part in annual Grand Day celebrations in which pupils perform a Trooping the Colour ceremony.

Congratulations to Sixth Form students from Lancaster Royal Grammar School who have achieved outstanding results in their A-level examinations this year. Almost half of all subject entries for the 153 Upper Sixth students were awarded A or A* grades, and almost three-quarters of all exams received grade B or above.

The culmination to Keswick School’s iPerform festival saw pupils and staff raise the bar by holding an amazing whole school Lipdub. On 7th July HRH the Duchess of Gloucester visited Steyning Grammar School for a tour of the school's boarding campus and Church Street, Lower School to meet with staff and students. This visit marked the 400th Anniversary of the school and was in recognition of the school's unique 'Day and Residential' status and the excellent learning outcomes for students.

Year 8 pupils at Lancaster Royal Grammar School have been competing to see who could create the best crash test vehicle, which could carry a fragile passenger – an egg – safely down a steep vertical slope and then crash into a solid wall.
