Visiting Authors Inspire Students as Part of the Brilliant Book Awards

On Monday 1st June, Steyning Grammar school was host to a visiting author Alan Gibbons; this visit is part of the 'inaugural' Steyning Grammar School 'Brilliant Book Awards'.

Adventure at Newlands for Keswick School Boarders

A weekend of outdoor activities during the Mat Day weekend took place in Newlands Adventure Centre. Eleven Keswick School boarders took part in a range of fun activities from ghyll scrambling to climbing.

The weekend kicked off with some high ropes in the forest on Saturday afternoon and didn't end until they finished kayaking on Derwentwater on Monday afternoon.

Two Royal Alexandra & Albert School Teams Top Surrey Rugby League

This term, two Royal Alexandra and Albert School rugby teams have been victorious in the Surrey State Schools Cup Finals.

IT at LRGS gets funding boost

Lancaster Royal Grammar School has recently been awarded £30,000 to improve its IT provision by the Wolfson Foundation, an independent charity that awards grants to support and promote excellence in education.
